Hoppers Baby Haven: Applecheeks Giveaway!

*This giveaway is now closed*

Back in the day (you know,  two years ago) I frequented a message board on "The Bump" where I met my friend, Irene. In the time since I met her, she has launched her own baby store, Hoppers Baby Haven.
How cute is that bunny?! They stock tons of baby essentials, including cloth diapers and accessories. To celebrate their grand opening, Hoppers Baby Haven is giving away an AppleCheeks Little Bundle in your choice of size and color/print! AppleCheeks are AWESOME diapers, and their best feature is that you don't have to remove the insert before washing- they agitate out on their own in the wash! If you've ever pulled an insert out of a really nasty diaper, you know this is big time news!
This is the AppleCheeks diaper in their new print "Delicious"- I know... it's adorable.
This is what the inside of an AppleCheeks looks like. They're very easy to stuff with a wide pocket, and they have a really nice fit. They come in two sizes, Size 1 fits from 7-20lbs and Size 2 fits from 18- 40lbs. This diaper has really held everything in, if you catch my drift. It has great elastic that makes for a great fit.

If you'd like to win the AppleCheeks Little Bundle (one cover and one insert):

1) Just leave me a comment telling me which color you'd like if you win (HERE are the color options).

2) For an extra entry (or two), you can follow my giveaway blog and/or "like" Hoppers Baby Haven on Facebook HERE

Please leave a separate comment for each entry. A winner will be drawn next Tuesday!

Also, because they are super awesome, Hoppers Baby Haven is offering a 10% discount to all of my readers with the discount code "southernbellebaby" entered at check-out. This code is good for two weeks (discount excludes GroVia, Kanga Care (EcoPosh) and Ju-Ju-Be). Make sure to check them out!

E-Mealz Review and Giveaway

Emealz - Easy Meals for Busy People!

So, you guys know I've been trying out E-mealz in an attempt to lower our grocery bill. So I was definitely excited when Heather from E-mealz contacted me and asked for me to host a giveaway for them. Right now, I am subscribed to the Publix Family Meal Plan. Basically, every Wednesday (the day the new sales ad comes out) the week's new menu is released. You just go to the site, sign in and download your menu. With each menu, not only is the recipe included, but so is your shopping list! They completely take all the work out of saving money, which is great. Also, what I love is that their way of perusing the sales flyers for the cheapest ingredients really coincides well with Southern Savers, so I can still coupon to save even more. It only costs $1.25 a week for this service, or $5 a month- pretty cheap considering how much money it will end up saving you!

I had signed up for the Publix low-fat plan at first, but we weren't digging on those recipes much, so we switched to the normal Publix plan. These are way more up my alley! You can check here for a sample menu and grocery list to see how everything looks, but here's an example of a menu (this is a partial one):

They have plans based on lots of the popular grocery stores, since each menu is based on what's on sale each week. There are even gluten-free and vegetarian options!

I've really enjoyed this service, so far. I don't know about y'all, but I get horrible writer's block when making out my weekly menu. I'll think of two or three meals right away and then go blank. It's nice to be able to have a ton of ideas at my disposal. And, if ever you don't like one of the meals or aren't in the mood for it, you can always replace it with one of your family's staples. That's pretty much how I use it, and if we don't like a certain ingredient, we just change it to make it work for us. Here's the gist of it, if you want to learn more about this service.

Now for the good part: all of you guys get a 10% discount off of your subscription by entering the code "savemoney" at checkout! Also, one of you guys is walking away with a free three-month subscription to E-Mealz!

If you'd like to win:

1) Visit the E-Mealz site and tell me which meal plan you'd like to try.

2) To earn an extra entry, you can like me on Facebook.

Just leave me a separate comment per entry.

A winner will be drawn on Monday, July 25! Happy entering!
